What is Laser Tag?

Strap on a vest and step into the darkened labyrinth. Teammates vanish down fog-filled passageways. You're alone creeping along a dark corridor...  Suddenly, you sense a movement. Vest lights flash. You score! Adrenaline pumps, propelling you forward. Lasers pierce the blackness as sirens ricochet throughout the maze. Thoughts disintegrate. You stop watching and breathe it in. You feel it. You become the game. Zone Laser Tag is the Ultimate laser game experience

The typical laser tag experience is about 30 minutes from strolling into the lobby to exiting the arena. Here's how it goes: first you pay. Very important. Next you are escorted to the briefing room for a quick rundown on the equipment, the game, and the rules. When you know everything there is to know, your GameMaster will lead you to the vesting room, assign you to the yellow, red, or blue team and send you into the "Zone".

If you've played laser tag but you haven't played the Zone, our arenas and equipment are going to redefine your concept of the game. Zone does not subscribe to the "just-bring-a-little-imagination-to-the-fluorescent-mini-maze" genre of laser games which has become standard in the industry. You see we play the game. Everybody at Zone plays the game. We love the game. Loving the game is a requirement of employment. In a good arena, you don't need to bring your imagination. We can deliver everything you could imagine to give an immersive experience like no other. Top-of-the-tower vantage points, precipitous catwalks, narrow winding passages, tunnels, dark corners, multiple levels, retaliating outposts, programmable sentinels, mines, light effects, audio effects a sensory overload.

When you play in the Zone, you are a walking target. You have targets on your shoulders, back, chest and in the laser you're carrying. Guerrilla tactics apply. There's no shame in zapping someone in the back, so snipe away. It's all about racking up points or achieving goals set in the briefing. The little stuff can add up, but the jackpot is in capturing the opposing bases, or scoring a goal or turning someone to the dark side, with game variety beyond belief you won't run short of games to present to your guests. This is no video game... the ability to "play well with others" is required. When you're all done you'll get a scorecard and see how your statistics stack up with other players.
